Airbnb is looking for a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our Trust team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models to enhance the safety and trust of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. The salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Tanggung Jawab:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to improve the safety and trust of the Airbnb platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of machine learning models.
  • Monitor and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to our platform.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Document machine learning models and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

    • 🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

    Kualifikasi:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to tackle complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
